What our customers say…
Q. I'm going to be a bridesmaid and I've just tried on the beautiful sleeveless dress I'll be wearing. The problem is, I have a tattoo that i'd really like to hide. Can you suggest a cheap - and painless - way to do this?
Lyndsey Buckler, Walsall, West Midlands
A. I have a solution that doesn't involve laser treatment or having to spend hundreds of pounds. Tattoo Secret, £25, is an effective three-step camouflage make-up system that will do a great cover-up job on your tattoo. Use it on the big day and you'll look stunning in that dress.

Laser Tattoo Removal
The effectiveness of laser tattoo removal depends on a number of factors; including the size of the tattoo, and the various dyes used in colouring the tattoo. Obviously, the bigger the tattoo more treatments will be required. But, as laser treatment is directed at the skin’s pigmentation, the effectiveness of this treatment largely depends on the dyes used in colouring the tattoo, as well as the complexity of the colouring used in the specific design.
For example, through various tests and experiments carried out on different tattoos we know that certain dyes such as white, yellow, orange, and even some red and green dyes, are very hard to remove totally. Fluorescent and acrylic dyes have also proved to be more difficult to remove, and the skin may remain coloured following laser tattoo removal treatment.
Having decided on laser tattoo removal, the next thing to do is to visit a reputable clinic for a consultation. There, they will perform a test patch to determine how many treatments will be required to remove the tattoo, and how effective laser treatment will be for your particular tattoo. This will also give you an idea of the cost likely to be incurred.
